Quit Smoking
Smoking is the greatest single cause of illness and premature death in the UK. Each year smoking kills 120,000 people – compare this to 5,000 who die in road accidents. Thirteen people die each hour because of smoking! So, well done and congratulations on deciding to be a non smoker and to stop smoking for life, for living.
You are now on the next step to improving your health, wealth and well being.

Why become a non smoker?
Thinking about the reasons is a brilliant way to motivate yourself.
Improve your health
- Reduce your risk of illness, disability or death caused by cancer, heart disease and lung diseases.
- Reduce your risk of gangrene or amputation caused by circulation problems.
- Protect the health of the people you care about by not making them breathe your second-hand smoke.
- Reduce the chances of your children suffering from asthma or glue ear.
- Improve your fertility and your chance of a healthy pregnancy and baby.
- Improve your breathing and general fitness.
- Enjoy the taste of food more.
Feel attractive and confident
- Get rid of that stale tobacco smell from your hair, skin and clothes.
- Look attractive with healthy, glowing skin, no tobacco stains on your teeth and fewer wrinkles.
- Feel more confident in public places because you won't be polluting the air or making other people breathe your second-hand smoke.
- Get asked out more! Smoking is a big turn off to potential partners, so you might be surprised by the new attention you receive.
- Have a fresh, attractive home without nicotine stains on the walls and reduce your risk of starting a house fire or burning your clothes.
Concerns
Some people fear becoming a non smoker because of the scare stories about withdrawal that they’ve heard about. Cravings and weight gain are the most common concerns, along with irritability and poor concentration. It is important to share any concerns that you may have; we can then tailor your programme to ensure your success and avoid these areas.
These are a key area that will be explored to develop your personalised plan.
“Whether you believe you can, or
whether you believe you can’t –
you’re absolutely right”
Stopping smoking requires faith and belief. Many people who are thinking about quitting smoking can't imagine that they'll ever reach a point where they will find it easy and think of it in positive terms. This is why you will need to take a leap of faith in the beginning. You will have to believe that before long there will come a time when you can go for a month without even thinking about cigarettes or smoking, and even then it will be a passing thought which will be gone as soon as you've had it. This may seem too good to be true but, rest assured, people are getting there every day.
Sit down and pretend you are a year into the future. You have given up smoking - you have forgotten about smoking and cigarettes. Make a written list of all the things that will be different and the benefits that you will see. Write down as many things as you can think of. It's important with this exercise to be positive, and not just to use double negatives. For example, instead of writing 'I will not be in bad health', write 'I will be enjoying better health and exercising three times a week'. There are lots of benefits to becoming a non smoker - how many can you think of right now?
Our stop smoking programme methodology is based on our experience and a variety of different techniques, utilising our expertise in NLP and Clinical Hypnotherapy.
30 minutes Free consultation
It will always begin with a discussion, finding out what you want. Your thoughts and feelings about smoking and stopping smoking are important. As are any fears, concerns or contra-indicators, such as putting on weight, once realised they can addressed in your session.
But more importantly is your motivation and desire to fulfil your compelling future of being a non smoker - and enjoying this.
You will be asked to recall at least four times when smoking has caused you to feel uncomfortable or fed up or disgusted, any negative feeling as a consequence of your smoking.
Your bespoke plan will be discussed and agreed, including the right number of sessions and the correct level support for you.
Your personal programme, hypnotherapy script and supporting CD will be created from this consultation, ready for your next session and the return to you being a happy, confident and successful non smoker.
